The premise

Most of what you have been told about cash flow is half right.

The other half is the bit that decides whether your business survives the next twelve months. The structure most early stage founders never get taught, and the smallest possible system you can run from your phone on a Friday morning.

You don’t need to know what you don’t know yet. You need to know what to ask.

The session, minute by minute

Five blocks, structured to send you home with a system.

  1. Open · Min 0000 / 15

The one question every set of books should answer.

Welcome and the framing. Why most early stage finance dashboards answer the wrong question, and what the right one looks like.

  2. Block 0115 / 35

    Read your numbers.

Two reports, one question each, every Friday. The smallest possible reading routine that tells you whether you made money this month.

  3. Block 0235 / 55

    Build the foundation.

The bookkeeping minimum that makes everything else possible. What you actually need on file. What you can ignore until later.

  4. Block 0355 / 75

    Price with confidence.

Why most early stage founders are undercharging by twenty to forty per cent. The framework Mbamti uses with clients to fix it.

  5. Close · Min 7575 / 90

Live Q&A and what to do this week.

Specific questions from registrants, then a short list of three things to start on Monday morning.

  • Yes. Mbamti runs the editions to send every founder home with a structure that works on a phone.
  • Registrants get the recording within forty-eight hours. The live edition is the conversation, the Q&A, and the answers calibrated to the room, the recording is the reference. If you can't make it live, register anyway.

  • Especially come. The session is built around the founders who are running the business in their head, on screenshots, or in a notebook. The first twenty minutes is exactly the framing that tells you what to set up before you set anything up.
  • None. The session is structured for founders, not accountants. Anything technical gets framed in plain language with an example you can apply on the same day. Bring questions.
  • Most of what we cover applies to any small business taking customer payments and paying suppliers. The local detail (currency, statutory filings) comes up in the agenda blocks marked Ghana / Nigeria, you can ignore those slides, the rest is yours.
  • Optional. You can keep camera and mic off the entire time and ask questions through the chat. The Q&A block is structured around chat questions first, voice second, so quiet attendees aren't disadvantaged.
